Haha…real honey shouldn’t be that bright yellow. Most likely, an artificial colouring. Nasi kerabu is my favourite Kelantanese dish.

Kerabu is the Malay word for “salad”. So nasi kerabu means “salad rice” since it has vegetables that are supposed to be mixed with the rice before eating. You will find other types of kerabu, including kerabu mangga (mango salad), kerabu perut (tripe salad) and kerabu kaki ayam (chicken feet salad). My wife tells me there are many more types, I just am not a salad person. I hope you will find more soon 🙂
