ごっつぁんです!
The Coto Coto Train, designed by designer/illustrator Eiji Mitooka, is based on the 3 themes of “relaxation, delicious food, and fun”. Enjoy the luxury train ambiance while gazing at the countryside scenery, all while dining on a delicious 6-course French-fusion meal that utilizes ingredients from the nature-rich areas surrounding the train line. Out of all the luxury/designer trains that I’ve had the chance to try (Seven Stars, Aru Ressha, CotoCoto), the CotoCoto is by far the cheapest, and the least amount of time commitment. If you’re looking for a one-day special occasion trip out of Fukuoka City, this might be the perfect thing for you.

No bathroom on the train??? That’s a personal nightmare XD
Let’s all join in wishing Micaela a Happy Birthday 🤣
Woooow. That train, THAT FOOD. What is that masterpiece?! I’m so glad you had a chance to have such a marvelous experience!
Such a stressful time to be human in this world right now, your content is a wonderful distraction. Thank you for sharing and for your hard work. I hope you are staying safe and happy during these times! 🙂
Micaela, the news has been really stressing me out today. Your video was a really welcome change from the doom and gloom. I appreciate the time and effort you put into your content. Thanks for sharing!
何歳ですか?いつも美しいなぁ!コロナには気をてけてね。
you’ve singlehandedly convinced me through your videos and Instagram to make sure i see Fukuoka when i visit Japan and now i want to visit Nogata as well, it’s so beautiful. i know a lot of the draw for tourists are the bigger cities but the countryside is so gorgeous and interesting to me.
Oooh, first vid in a while! I’ve been subbed for years now, and I’m glad you’re still around making videos! Appreciate the content you put out.
なんだろう、この原点回帰感
After a couple years of hearing you speak about Fukuoka, I might just make a stop here when I fly out to Tokyo next time. x
Was it just windy, or was it pretty cold. That was a beautiful train, and amazingly good looking food. How many specialty trains does Kyushu have now?
I wish we had stuff like this in the states. I think my little town could pull something like this off.
This is super fun! That seems like a great way to spend the day. Relaxing, supports locals, and you get to try yummy foods~ The staff look so excited
I love the way Japan does things like this! Almost priceless, never find anything like this in USA no matter how rich you are.
You look so adorable in this video. I love you very much 💗
Thank you for introducing the splendid train serving yummy lunch. And happy birthday!!
Because of Coronavirus, people are reluctant to go out. This video is encouraging us to travel to Fukuoka.
Please take care of yourself.
I love how delicate Japanese food is.
Toyota needs to develop some all electric cars that would be efficient to help people travel to country side.
That looks like an awesome day(?)trip! But I bet they don’t have a vegetarian menu. 🙁 I think that is rare to have a train with a restaurant and no toilet in it… it’s probably because it’s made out of a normal local train… 😀
Trains are one of the best parts of Japan! I’d love to see more train adventure option to consider for future trips!
